“Kissed horizontally?”
“Horizontally” is the sheet’s way of asking whether the kissing happened lying down. The act is the same one counted at question 6; what changed is that a bed, a sofa or a floor was involved. Nothing on this list is weighted. What “kissed horizontally” means
Kissing while lying down rather than standing up. The phrase is barely used outside this questionnaire, which is why people arrive at it from a search box rather than from conversation: the sheet needed a way to mark the difference between a kiss goodnight at a door and a kiss that happens somewhere you can both lie down, and it found one word for it.
The distinction is about position and nothing else. It does not ask what followed, and the items that do ask come later in the list. What the wording is really recording is privacy: to kiss lying down you generally need a room, which usually means the two of you are no longer in public.
It sits at item 10, one point, in the escalation the opening block is built on — cheek, lips, French, neck, horizontal. Each of those is a separate line precisely so the score can tell them apart.
