The clinical phrasing folds several acts into one line, which is why it reads oddly next to its neighbours. It follows 37 and 38 because it asks about the outcome those two questions leave out. Item 39 of 100, and the 5th of the 9 questions in the partnered-sex run that stops just short of intercourse (35–43).
